Relaxation
Is just that, massage strokes designed to lull you into a deep relaxed state. At the same time your body is reducing tension, increasing blood-flow and the lymphatic system is being supported to carry away the waste products in your body.
Deep Tissue
I use a variety of techniques including acupressure, Thai Massage, Myofascial release and alignment. However my best tools are my hands, they do seem to know where to go on a body to find the 'sore' bits. Postural compensations form the way we hold our body, do you favour a side? Or is it because you had an injury and stopped using your arm to reach high or backwards? Whether it is discomfort or to increase range of movement come and see me.
Mirimiri
Similar to relaxation massage except energies are worked with, alongside understanding the spiritual gift your body is trying to give you, that mind and body connection. Our mind is very powerful and can get stuck much like a record, however luckily we can make changes. There is great potential here to release what no longer serves you.
Romiromi
Much like Mirimiri however using more powerful tools going deeper into the body, some people release better using this approach. Going deeper releases deep held tension in the body. We have Haemata points in our body and when pressed deeply can be very uncomfortable so finding the balance between breathing, letting go while applying pressure to the point is crucial for me. If you feel that you are carrying something, or you need to shift something this maybe just the style for you. Allow 1.5 hours and is done fully dressed.
Reflexology
A foot massage can be one of the most relaxing types of massage as we are constantly using our feet. It never ceases to amaze me when certain spots on our feet are pressed and feel sensitive how they can relate to areas in our body that too have a sensitivity level.
